We are extremely pleased to announce that our longest serving volunteer is returning to the airwaves!

Join Arthur this Thursday (tomorrow) from 19:00 where he'll be playing tunes from the shows, musicals and inviting you, the listener, to guess what film or musical the song comes from!

"Arthur is our longest serving member, and his programmes have been a significant part of the character of this stations output for over three decades.

Each show will play three 'Guess the Show tunes features' ranging from musicals like Les Miserables to films like Top Gun.

It's fantastic to have him back where he belongs!"

It was great to catch up with our colleagues from hospital radio stations across Wales and the West Country earlier today, as BGM hosted the May Wales & West Hospital Radio get-together.

We had a fantastic day sharing experiences, knowledge, and stories. Alongside a brilliant presentation from our guest speaker, former BBC and Swansea Sound presenter, Lyn Morgan, we also gave our fellow stations a sneak peek at our brand-new Studio 1 – which we’re excited to officially launch in the coming months.

It was inspiring to see so many passionate radio colleagues, and we can’t wait for the next get-together!

The All Wales Therapeutics and Toxicology Centre (AWTCC) would like to invite you to attend their Patient and Public Interest Group (PAPIG) meeting which will be held online on March 18th between 10am and 11.15am.

Patient and Public Interest Group (PAPIG) is made up of patients, carers, patient advocates and third sector organisations. The group feeds their views via the All Wales Therapeutics and Toxicology Group (AWTTC), who provide professional, technical and administrative support to the All Wales Medicines Strategy Group (AWMSG). One of the roles of AWMSG is to advise Welsh Government on whether new medicines should be available for use in NHS Wales.

The next PAPIG meeting will be held online on March 18th and will include:

- The updated AWMSG medicines assessment process and how you can propose a medicine for consideration.
- Interventions not normally available on the NHS – what are they, what are the circumstances when they may be offered and how do people find out about them
