We have got four cracking bands heading to Cask & Keg for a proper DIY punk show on FRIDAY THE 7TH OF AUGUST and it's completely FREE !

BEAR AWAY
Scarborough's own. Big choruses, gruff melodic punk, and always a class live band.

ONLOOKER
Over from Teesside for their first Scarborough show. Raw, noisy garage punk.

SPLITBOX
Another Scarborough debut. Fast melodic punk with plenty of hooks and sing alongs

CHARACTER ACTORS
Coming over from Leeds with catchy, scrappy punk that'll get the room moving.

It's still chaos here at Some Dude HQ, but a quick update....

Tempersflare have joined the East Coast Threat comp for HEY Children’s University.

Raw, angry garage punk from Bridlington. Great band and top dudes.
Only one more band to confirm and then the pay‑what‑you‑want release drops.... Finally.

Sometimes living up north on the East Coast can feel like a slog, and the lack of / type of work definitely doesn’t help. But days like today remind me there’s nowhere else I’d rather be. The views, the space, the air… it’s unreal.

I'm stoked to finally announce the First gig I’ve put on in nearly 16 years, and the first ECC show in about a decade!
I Couldn't’ think of a better way to bring it back than teaming up with Scarborough DIY promoters Scene Not Heard.

I’ve teamed up with Scarborough DIY promoters Scene Not Heard and my old friends over at the east coast collective for a future project — buzzing to get this moving.
Feels like the start of something that could become a regular thing. Loads happening behind the scenes at Some Dude HQ right now.

This whole thing started because I wanted to shine a light on the bands that make the East Coast scene what it is ... loud, honest, rough around the edges, and completely ours... just people making noise because they want to.
