Yep that's right, I'm a Posty fan. It's a guilty pleasure of mine and I bloody love this album. He's the only slow style ballad rapper I f**k with, all the others can get bent! I also have it under very good authority from a close friend that he is a genuinely nice guy and has a heart of gold. This album has some killer harmonies, great low end bass, slick layers and great production, I personally think it's his best ever and will take some beating.

New album from New Yorks very own FLC. Massive shout outs and a huge thank you to for the present, you really know how to treat a guy 😉
Perfect for Sunday roast cooking vibes. I'm currently half way through the 2nd side and it's reminding lots of the 100% Columbian album they did (minus Huey). Plenty of gritty grooves and slick lyrics, great guitar riffs and a nice little bit of organ in places. Leiser and Benbini do an amazing job without Huey and have clearly made the band their own now.

Got this absolute gem on whilst tidying the backrooms/studio. Massive shout outs to Darren .bridport for the lend of this one. This album has slipped through the net for me however a lot of the tracks sound familiar and I'm pretty sure they've been used on many skate videos I've seen.
Released in 1991 as his debut studio album, MC Solar flows beautifully over the chilled soulful beats but ups the tempo with some dynamic french double time ragga raps. Bouge de là samples Cymande The Message and I remember seeing MC Solar in their documentary talking about it.

Now Playing: Koolism - The Season
Some early 2002 Aussie/New Zealand Hip Hop this morning. The Season EP is part of their four EP release with The Blue Note EP being the first release in 2002. Unfortunately the other two EPs The Butcher Shop and The Epic never got released due to a large part of the material being stolen from their car when on tour in 2004. I highly recommend listening to these guys, they are a big part of Australian Hip Hop and it's culture ✌🏼❤️
