Next video...

This one's taken quite a bit of work. Possibly the most complex production I've tackled so far. I was going to release it during the summer, but half way through working on it, the whole story changed.

The Camden Highline project was officially "paused" a few weeks ago. So the whole narrative that we filmed needed quite a bit of adapting.

Anyway... you'll get to hear all about it early next week.

Sometimes it's the surprises that you remember the most from a trip.

When visiting Richmond, I'd had a tip off about this little alleyway. I didn't know exactly where it was, so I was looking forward to the surprise of coming across it naturally. What a little treasure just off the Richmond Market Place - Friars Wynd.

The text reads: Laid down in 1895 oy ironmonger Robert Spence who had a well-stocked shop in the Market Place and two warehouses flanking the Postern Gate in Friars Wvnd. The tramwav ran from the Market Place, where heavv goods brought from Richmond Statior bv horse and cart were off-loaded onto a trollev mounted on the rails and pushed by two men. The business, founded ir 1788. closed in 1970 and the Market Place section of the tramway was removed This warehouse, now the Georgian Theatre Museum, is on the site of the Quaker Meeting House c. 1677-c.1750

Knock knock.

Behind this door is a fantastic piece of Sheffield's railway history. The grade II listed Spital tunnel (also known as the fiery jack).

One that probably a lot of people will never get to see.

Such a shame.

Building a railway station at the other side of the river to the town...

You'll need to build a bridge. But make sure it's a nice one!

Another Lost Railway Town.

Richmond in North Yorkshire was a real stunner. Quite incredible that so much of the railway survived.
