SLACTORS recap!
We teamed up with and a few of our trusty hosts to bring you a full day of live music, interviews and DJs from the vast array of music we have in our doorstep for a celebration of grassroots Brighton in this epic showcase.
Upstairs we hosted 5 acts (including a secret guest headliner ft. in our previous post)
who we are sure this will have been the last time you are able to catch on a stage this modest.
Huge thanks to everyone involved, who made this happen and to the in-house kitchen for providing us all with incredible food on the day

.now we’re the secret headliner for our SLACTORS showcase in collaboration on Saturday 17th May - unofficial TGE ‘25 stage!

The party wasn’t over til these guys left the building, they perform with maximum energy, absolute joy and unfiltered, unapologetic declarations 🙌 challenging anyone in their path, advocating for change , big party vibes and fighting for FLINTA’s everywhere.

We have been so glad to see their rise and we can be sure you’ll only be seeing and hearing more of them from here on out! It’s Aperol Spritz summer 💅

What a belter we had last month at our SLACTORS unofficial TGE showcase, celebrating the exceptional homegrown talent we have on our doorstep here in Brighton.
We took over on Saturday 17th May, all broadcast on Slack City radio with live acts across both floors and interviews with each of them between the music.
All these artists performed outstanding sets for us in the downstairs bar, enjoy these photos from those and keep an eye out for more to follow of those who played on the theatre stage.

Congratulations really got us limbered up for the long night ahead with a high energy set of big riffs and even bigger moves, we can only imagine the stretch routine that went down before and after in the green room. Let’s just say we can’t imagine you’ll be seeing these guys on a stage that small again, if only for the space they need for aerobic exercise during their set.

Slag opened up the big night with an astounding set, with the live room filling up to capacity from the off, proving they’re destined for greatness, if you were there to witness it and didn’t get left outside in the queue.. we’re sure you’ll agree!
