😍Come find us next week at Big Gay Market Brighton on Sat 22 Nov at Daltons. We haven’t done a market in a while so we are looking forward to it!

🎨There’ll be lots of crafts made by small businesses. It’s a great opportunity to shop small this Christmas and keep the money circulating within our community, not in the hands of those causing climate change or supporting w@rs.

💷With these markets, Big Gay Market is raising money for Find a Friend Project.

📅Saturday 22nd November
⏱️10am-4pm - FREE ENTRY
📍Daltons, Madeira Drive, Brighton BN2 1TB

Sponsored by G10online and Sigil Stickers

🤩It will be our last market in Brighton in 2025 so come along to have a chat, grab a copy or our zines, our mini versions or our cute stickers. See you there!

🦋At this very day last year, we were launching Aghh! Zine Issue 03 “Pleasure” at Lighthouse Project Space!! 😱Time flies!

📷Thanks to these lovely photos taken by Luce we get to revive the amazing evening we had. 🎤In the first half, we had powerful readings from contributors Nu McAdam, Mx. Adam Khan, Lee Campbell, NS & performance by Sekinue aka Fior Anderson.

❤️‍🔥The second part we had fun creative workshops by Emily from Femigami, Soofiya, Bradley Tuck and us.

😘 Special thanks again to the event supporters Event 7 and Lighthouse with with Live Streaming platform provided by S7REAM 😊

🍉When introducing the launch last year, we mentioned the w*rs and g€nocide that was going around the world then, and sadly, a year later we are still in the same situation demanding the liberation of Pale-tine, S-dan and C-ngo & many more. The fight is not over. ✊🏼✊🏿

Having our zines be part of libraries all around the world has been a passion of ours since we started Aghh! Zine ☺️

💘We both love libraries! They’re one of the few truly public spaces left, offering free access to knowledge, culture, and community. In a world where these spaces are disappearing and changing so fast, having our zines on their shelves feels like we are contributing and keeping a small part of that resistance alive.

🤩Since our residency at the GRRRL ZINE FAIR Library and being part of the zine-makers community, zine libraries have become some of our favourite types. It’s been so inspiring to see how people use them and the many shapes these libraries can take.

🥸So when RTS Zines asked us to be part of the library they were putting together for the Community Base staff room, we were so happy! How cool is that? Honestly, every workplace should have one.

Since we started, we’ve been lucky to have our zines included in a few different libraries (such as Goldsmiths, University of London, University of Brighton, Highland Zine Bothy, + more), and we plan to keep sending our zine out to more. 🗨️Got any suggestions for where we should send them next?

😆Promise this isn’t a sponsored post about libraries, just sharing our love, with a reminder to renew your library card, return your books, and lose yourself in your local library.
