Congratulations to all finalists and winners!

The event also raised an impressive £2,000 for Seaford Downs Syndrome and Special Needs Support Group – a wonderful reminder of the strength of support within our local community.

A new project is coming to Seaford, aiming to better understand and protect the variety of wildlife in our local area.

Led by local nature groups, the audit will gather important information about plants, animals and habitats across Seaford. This will help organisations plan for the future and support efforts to protect our environment.

Residents are encouraged to get involved - you can join local groups or even take part by surveying your own garden.

📅 Save the date: Saturday 18th July

A full day of nature-themed events is planned, including activities like bird watching, beach combing and insect hunts.

🅿️ A new paid parking trial has begun at South Hill Barn Car Park. The aim is to improve parking during the busy summer months, reduce congestion, and protect this much-loved area for everyone to enjoy.

⭐️ Good news for Seaford residents: If you live in the BN25 postcode, you can apply for a FREE parking permit. This allows you to park free of charge throughout the trial.

Permits are available now from Seaford Tourist Information Centre (Monday to Friday, 9am–4pm). You’ll need proof of address and your vehicle registration.

Visitors will still be welcome, with a simple, cashless, pay-for-parking system in place. The trial will run until March 2027, when it will be reviewed by the Town Council.
