Incredible work by .pu — Are you having arrestable thoughts?
pu recently put up these notices around London to talk about the rising surveillance and control over our freedom of speech.

From old women being arrested for protesting to UK citizens having to upload Identification documents to use programs such as Discord, Bluesky, Reddit and more…

This has been disguised behind the new bill, in which those wishing to access adult content online need to upload identification documents.

Although we agree that this will protect children from accessing this content, the government and the programs will be using it to collect our personal information.

Your personal Information & digital footprint could be accessed by and exploited by many companies, which essentially is data brokering.

Due to the political climate in the UK, you should be alarmed at how the current government and future governments could use your personal information.

Your personal information can also be leaked by hackers due to flimsy encryption software.

For example recently- ‘A dating safety app that allows women to do background checks on men and anonymously share “red flag” behaviour has been hacked, exposing thousands of members’ images, posts and comments. -ВВС

Making an Opaltype the old-school way — demonstrates the Collodio-Chloride on glass process, using nothing but the sun as the UV light source 🌞

Shot in Cuyama, California during a tintype gathering with .photo, this image was created from a digital negative made on an iPhone, proving that even modern tech has a place in historical printmaking.

Opaltypes are part of the broader world of alternative photographic processes — in this case, a striking mid-century-inspired print on glass using silver-based chemistry.

Two and a half years ago, designer and printmaker created Human Being, Being Human, a type animation based on his feelings about the happenings in the world at the time. “Unfortunately, it feels even more relevant now,” says the artist, thus he decided to turn the work into a screen printed diptych. Human Being, Being Human is now available as single or diptych, with 75% of all proceeds going to Plant an Olive Tree Foundation and The Ukrainian Red Cross Society. The print measures 297 x 420 mm (A3) and is screen printed on off-white 320gsm eco, acid free paper in an edition of 30.
