MacDonaldStrand is based in Brighton and are Gordon MacDonald and Clare Strand.

MacDonald was founding editor of the internationally acclaimed Photoworks magazine and Head of Publications at Photoworks. He was a founder and first chairperson of Brighton Photo Fringe and co-founder of GOST Books. He is currently working on the first issue of Hapax Magazine, which he co-edits. Strand is an internationally renowned artist whose work is held in many public and private collections

including the Arts Council Collection (UK), The V&A Collection (UK), The New York Public Library Collection (US), Collection Centré George Pompidou (France), MOMA and SFMOMA.
