Property Professionals Lunch

The Property Professionals Lunch will take place quarterly, giving you the opportunity to mingle with your peers and other like minded professionals.

The Property Professionals Lunch was set up by Searches UK and Portfolio Magazine, in conjunction with the Rockinghorse Children’s Charity, to bring together professionals in the industry, to give them the opportunity to mingle with your peers and like-minded people in a warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere to discuss new ideas and create fresh business opportunities. unch is now under the management of Sophie Campbell-Adams of Britton and Time Solicitors and Dan Skipp of White House Block Management. Our lunches take place every quarter and we’ll be joined by an informative and interesting guest speaker. As well as great food, wine and company we shall have a prize draw every quarter, with funds raised being donated to The Rockinghorse Children’s Charity which helps improve the quality of lives of children who are seriously ill in Sussex.

🏛️ The final Property Professionals Lunch of 2025!

What a fantastic way to round off the year, it was brilliant to welcome so many familiar faces and new guests from across the property sector to the Hotel du Vin Brighton last week.

Marc spoke about how his dedication has helped change laws, raise awareness alongside well-known figures, and even earn him an OBE presented by King Charles himself. 🐾✨

The room looked absolutely fabulous thanks to Sarah King of Flamingo Styling, who once again brought her creative touch to the event this time with a subtle hint of Halloween flair. 🎃 🦇

A special thank you also goes to our charity partner, Rockinghorse Children's Charity, and to Amanda Hetherington and Donna Holland, who continue to do incredible work supporting children across Sussex.

Together, we raised £540 at this event, congratulations to all our raffle winners! 🎉

PPL Announcement 📣

Introducing Dr Marc Abraham OBE as our guest speaker on 16 October at Hotel du Vin Brighton. 🎤

Better known as Marc the Vet, Marc’s journey is nothing short of extraordinary. Growing up as a shy, nature-obsessed schoolboy, his best friends were caterpillars and frogspawn and while he once turned down a backstage pass to Live Aid in favour of collecting his school chemistry prize, he always knew his mission was to help animals. 🐶

Marc is a multi-award-winning veterinary surgeon, author of five books including Vet on Call and Lucy’s Law: The Story of a Little Dog Who Changed the World, as well as presenter of the new DOGSPIRACY documentary. 📖 🎥

Alongside his veterinary career, Marc is a passionate animal welfare campaigner, broadcaster, and cofounder of the All-Party Parliamentary Dog Advisory Welfare Group (APDAWG) in Westminster.

We’re especially proud to welcome Marc because, as an ambassador of Rockinghorse Children's Charity – our amazing charity partner for the PPL. He champions causes close to the heart of our community. His work continues to inspire change, create impact, and spark meaningful conversations, both locally and nationally. Marc will share his unique story and show us that literally anyone can make a difference in the world - you just need to care enough to take the first step.

🏡 It was great to see everyone from the property community back together and networking at last week’s Summer PPL, hosted by Sophie Campbell-Adams at Hotel du Vin Brighton 💫
