We were honoured to be invited by Blind Veterans UKto create the hero portraits for this year’s Remembrance campaign - Honour their service. Support their future.

The portraits feature Michael Wood (100) and Wayne Perry (62) - two veterans whose stories span decades of service and resilience.

Michael began his service in 1943, joining the RAF as a flight mechanic on Lancaster bombers during WWII. Wayne dedicated 18 years to the Royal Armoured Corps, serving in Germany, Cyprus and Northern Ireland.

Two lives shaped by military service, a generation apart, but united by their shared experience of sight loss.

Our approach was simple: using a black drape we created a clean, dark background to capture a proud and serious tone, while ensuring the comfort and dignity of our veteran subjects.

The campaign - which has featured on the charity’s website, direct mail campaign and digital channels - reminds us that remembrance is not only about looking back, but also looking forward, and supporting those who have served and are now living with sight loss.

➡️ Swipe for some of the portraits, behind the scenes on the shoot and how the images were used in the digital outdoor campaign.

On this Remembrance Day, we honour every life shaped by service.

It was a privilege to capture these portraits for Blind Veterans UK, paying tribute to courage, loss and resilience across generations.

We’ll share more of the campaign later this week - but for now, we simply remember.

🚲 New client alert 🚲

We’re delighted to welcome Cycling UK on board - the nation’s voice for cycling since 1878.

Together, we’ll be refreshing the charity’s brand photography bank to capture the joy, freedom and connection at the heart of life on a cycle.

For over a century, Cycling UK has championed one simple belief: that cycling is a gift that should be accessible to everyone. Its work inspires people to ride for health, community, the environment and for the pure joy of it.

We’re looking forward to creating imagery that supports Cycling UK’s mission to help people discover how cycling can change lives to be happier, healthier, and greener.

“When you support one woman, the circle grows bigger - that’s how change ripples out.”

In this episode of the Leading Lights podcast, Raakhi Shah, CEO of The Circle, joins Abi Mellor, podcast host and founder of MOREVER to talk about how collective action creates lasting change for women and girls around the world.

Together, they explore her journey to leadership, the influences that shaped her purpose, and her recommendations for anyone aspiring to empathetic, sustainable leadership.

You’ll hear:

~ How early experiences of inequality - from within her own school, to global events such as the Rwandan genocide - inspired Raakhi’s lifelong belief in fairness and solidarity.

~ What The Circle’s next chapter holds as it tackles violence and economic injustice for women and girls worldwide.

~ Why leading with courage, care and empathy matters more than ever - and how taking case of yourself is part of the mission.

A collaboration to tell the story of how sport changes young lives...

We’re so pleased to be partnering with Access Sport on a film to share findings from its ongoing research. The research is exploring how community sport and physical activity can transform the mental wellbeing of disabled and neurodivergent young people.

It’s our first time working with the charity, though its brilliant CEO, Helen Rowbotham, joined us on the Leading Lights podcast to talk about her pathway to leadership and the important work the charity is doing to support a diverse range of communities through sport. Themes that feel powerfully connected to this project.

We can’t wait to bring this research story to life.

She never liked football - until she realised it had the power to change the world.

When Karen Dobres visited a Lewes FC women's game, she discovered women had been banned from football for 50 years... AND, still earned ten times less than men.

So she joined the club, and helped to rewrite its rules.

As a director at Lewes FC, Karen helped make it the first semi-pro or pro club in the world to equally resource men and women, proving football can be a force for equality.

From women’s chanting workshops to suffragette-style flash mobs, Karen showed how sport can challenge sexism. This is a perfect example of a changemaker whose campaigns have made the world a fairer place.

Episode 13: The Antidote to Sexism, with Karen Dobres, former director of Lewes FC.

What if the world's most popular sport could be the key to gender equality?

In our latest Leading Lights episode, Abi Mellor talked with Karen Dobres - changemaker, author, and the force behind Lewes FC becoming the world's first football club to resource men and women equally.

Karen wasn't a football fan. But when she was invited to a game at her local club, Lewes Football Club and saw the strength of the young women on the pitch. She noticed their determination to win, how they confidently took up space, how they used their voices, and realised something powerful: football's unique ability to reach millions and challenge toxic masculinity.

By making female friendly adaptations to the match day experience, bringing in women’s chanting workshops, suffragette-style flash mobs, and launching the "Call Him Out" campaign, Karen has proved that football could combat toxic masculinity and empower women.

If you’re interested in understanding the steps it takes to build a community, change attitudes and bring about change for a fairer world, this is the episode for you.

Just a heads up: the episode contains occasional strong language.

Real conversations. Shared challenges. Fresh ideas.

That’s what happens when senior women in charity marketing, fundraising brand and comms get in a room together. The MOREVER Meetup is our way of creating that space. It's a chance to swap notes, compare experiences, share best practice… and support each other in roles that can sometimes feel a little lonely.

Our next gathering is set for Wednesday 3rd December, 3–5pm at the gorgeous Artist Residence, Cambridge Street in London (a stone’s throw from Victoria).

Expect Christmassy vibes, a beautiful setting, and a room full of inspiring women ready to connect.

December diaries fill up fast - so why not make a note in your calendar right now? Before the Christmas parties, school carol concerts and catch-ups take hold.

Whether you've been to every Meetup so far, or you've never been before, we'd love to see you.

Team update!

We’re thrilled to welcome back Senior Producer, Aiyana Gane, who returned to the team in August following maternity leave.

Aiyana is one of those ‘glue’ people. She collaborates on many of our projects - she’s also endlessly creative, the ultimate team player, and someone who brings energy and clarity to every project.

At MOREVER, we think it’s important to be transparent about life’s transitions - the real experiences that come with big life changes. That’s why we’re sharing Aiyana’s own words on what it felt like to return to work after having a baby:

"Even though I love what I do, the thought of returning to work after a year of maternity leave was daunting. It felt like such a mix of emotions, almost like the end of an era. I was sad about not spending every day with my daughter, but also excited to reconnect with the part of me that existed before motherhood. And layered on top of that was the worry that, after months of sleepless nights, I might have completely forgotten how to do my job!

Fast forward three months, and while the juggle is definitely real, I feel proud and content with this new version of myself. If anything, becoming a mum has given me a new kind of confidence that I can bring into my work. I’m genuinely happy to be back and looking forward to seeing what this next chapter holds."

📸 The image shows Aiyana back doing what she does best - on set at a recent shoot.

We couldn’t be happier to have her back with us. Returning to work after such a huge life shift takes courage, balance, and belief in yourself - Aiyana embodies all three.

If you haven't heard this one yet, we strongly recommend adding it to the top of your podcast or YouTube feed.

Eleanor Harrison was our guest for the September episode of Leading Lights. She joined Fairtrade Foundation as CEO (her "dream job") earlier this year, having had the role in her sights for many years - maybe even since working as a volunteer for the organisation during her teenage years.

Eleanor's passion for her subject is completely compelling and her points around the reasons for buying Fairtrade goods are impossible to deny.

She also explains how, for her, work with purpose is non-negotiable, and how important it is to find work that "aligns with your DNA".

There's so much wisdom in this episode, we can't wait to hear what you think.

Sometimes the best way to understand an idea is to walk through it... quite literally.

Last week we had the joy of co-hosting a Discovery Day alongside a client we've been working with for a couple of years, Iford Biodiversity Project. Set against a backdrop of sweeping fields and thriving wildlife, it was a chance to share the story of voluntary biodiversity credits with key members of our local community.

We walked, we talked, and we explored what these credits mean... not as an abstract concept, but as a living, breathing project unfolding on the Iford Estate. Managing Director, Ben Taylor, explained how the voluntary credits work, and the impact they will have on rebuilding biodiversity, right here in the heart of Sussex.

This event was a milestone in our current three-month campaign, to bring the credits to market. Alongside planning the day itself, we’ve also shaped the full marketing strategy: from strategic messaging and impactful sales tools to a new hero film, photography, and social media launch.

Here’s a glimpse of the day - nature, conversations, and plenty of smiles.

September always feels like a reset button. It's a time of new shoes, sharpened pencils, fresh ideas.

So it’s the perfect moment to share this year’s film for BookTrust’s annual Bookbuzz programme.

We’ve been creating this content with the reading charity for several years now, and it’s a project we look forward to every time. Why? Because the film is shown to Year 7 and 8 pupils across the country, and our job is to make students excited about the programme.

That means pulling together a lot of moving parts: capturing each author introducing their book, developing the graphics, finding and working with a narrator, shaping the script, and then weaving it all into an animated film that grabs attention and holds it.

Here’s a little snippet of the finished piece - a small glimpse into the wider programme to get young people switched on to the joy of reading.

You can see this and our other projects with BookTrust on our website... why not "pick your fave"!
