‘Why don’t you just leave?’ Every survivor has heard this. It’s not a question. It feels like judgment. Leaving is complicated, dangerous, and messy.

Let me tell you why most women don’t leave at the first sign… Emotional manipulation, fear for their and their family’s safety, isolation, physiological impacts, logistical barriers, shall I continue?

To anyone surviving this, you are not weak. You are brave. You are seen, you are valid, and you deserve safety and love—on your own terms, in your own time.

This is a story I never thought I’d tell.

She is me.

For a long time, my story was filled with pain, silence, and things no child or woman should ever have to carry. But this isn’t just about what happened to me. It’s about what I chose to do with it.

By facing my trauma, by working through it piece by piece, I’ve released myself from so much of that pain. I’ve found my voice. I’ve found my freedom. I’ve found the ability to turn my pain into strength and help other women.

I survived. And now, I get to live.

I’m sharing this not just for me, but for anyone who sees themselves in these words. Healing is possible—and you deserve it.

If I can help even one woman feel less alone, or take a step toward her own healing, then telling my story is worth it 🤍

We met through the work we do supporting those affected by domestic abuse and wanted to create something together that truly matters.

This is the space where we’ll be sharing podcast clips, speaking our minds, and having honest, unfiltered conversations.

We’ll be bringing on some amazing guests and diving into real topics without holding back or sugar-coating anything.

We also have a retreat coming up, because this year is all about self-love and learning to truly love you.

Instead, we choose to turn what we lived through into something meaningful. Something powerful. Something that creates change.

Louise is an award-winning entrepreneur, named Entrepreneur of the Year, who supports women and children every day to overcome their challenges
and reclaim their lives. Soon to release her book and tell her story.

Becky is a respected and deeply valued ICF Accredited Empowerment coach, known for helping women reconnect with themselves and create lasting, life changing transformation.
