One of the DJs performing in The Originate Room is an absolute wizard on the ones and twos!! Neil Badboy is a DnB, Old skool hardcore & jungle DJ from Corby, Northamptonshire and represents: Total carnage, Audio Unity, dnb 7 and Back2skool!! 💥
Neil’s first time on the turntables was in 1992. As he honed his skills and built a great reputation, his dedication paid dividends when in 2003 he began a winning streak in some of the biggest DnB DJ competitions around!!

DJ:EQ Is another DJ from the Northants DnB scene in the 00s. Predominantly a DnB dj he would also perform plenty of Old Skool sets and was a regular DJ in the Old Skool room at Accelerated Culture in Digbeth. He would often play at Jungle & Hardcore parties where he was privileged enough to hand the decks over to legends like Ratty, Slipmatt and Hype.
Eq was a promoter right from the start. In 6th Form his Young enterprise team won a regional entrepreneur award for a school rave…. In truth they miscalculated an order of dayglow paper in a previous venture so printed off a s**t load of flyers and did a hardhouse school disco instead…..
His promoting was a a passion just as much as the live performance of mixing on 1210s. Collecting the records, going raving, and just being fortunate enough to spin some tunes with mates.
EQ would partner up with another local promoter who was looking for similar challenge at the same time. EQ and Jayeye would go on to curate, plan and prep some parties for around 12 years. The method statement was simple “Put on a big parties in town”.
The Promotion Flavaunt was a collective of mates who could all shut a party down on the decks and microphone with their resident MC Ruthless, now a long time Hospital Records compère. Their lineups were a reflection of what they all loved and it still lives on today with one of the founders DJD still holding some of the highest quality nights in town with The Social.
