During a recent airsoft game, the holster attachment for my Novritsch SSP5 pistol broke after it snagged on a branch while I was pushing through dense cover. This experience highlighted the need for a more durable and reliable holster, one designed to withstand the rigours of airsoft gameplay.

After researching several options, I chose the Kydex Customs Pro Series Light-Bearing Hi-Capa Holster, a product proudly made in the UK from genuine 2mm (0.08”) P1 Kydex. Its robust construction, combined with a sleek and practical design, stood out to me. The holster not only accommodates my Olight torch but also offers customisation in multiple colours, including Cordura Fabric wraps, allowing players to match their kit and loadout perfectly.

After several weeks of use, I can confidently say this holster has exceeded expectations. The retention is perfectly balanced, secure enough to keep the pistol in place while running, yet smooth and effortless when drawing the sidearm. I’ve not missed a single re-index since switching.

Firstly, I would like to apologise for not posting for a while. Life has been crazy this end and finally I am on top of it all and I will posting most frequently across all my social medias.

Last weekend I had my Stag do at First & Only The Base CQC with an amazing group of people who dressed me up as "Puff the Tacitcal Dragon." Even tho it was 16 degrees, I pushed on through and defended my Dragon lair which was full of Magical Dragon Eggs. Myself and 3 defenders held off two teams of 15 players, out of the 21 eggs, only 5 were stolen from us.

For the last three weekends on the trot I have had the pleasure to play at First & Only The Base CQC, twice on normal skirmish days & once on their first battle sim.

This was also my first battle sim which I throughly enjoyed, the long games of two hours or more were a complete change to normal skirmish day of short games.

This is making me want to play a milsim even more and I believe I will be changing my kit to suit this longer type of play style.
