I did it! 👩🏾🎓🎓
This one feels really emotional.
Three years ago, I started university while living in a caravan and working full-time in care. I never imagined how much life would change over those three years.
Somewhere along the way, my husband and I bought our first home at auction, renovated it while I was studying, and I was finally able to reduce my hours in care. Looking back now, I honestly don't know how I managed it all. There were so many late nights, early mornings, moments of exhaustion and times I wanted to give up.
For years it felt like I was burning the candle at both ends, balancing work, university, renovating a house and trying to be there for the people I love. Now, for the first time in what feels like forever, that chapter is over. It's a strange feeling, but such a welcome one.
I'm so grateful to my lecturers, Jan Meinema , Simon Hunt , Paul Jebanasam , Pablo Villierezz, Will and Andy, for believing in me and making my time at Bath Spa so special. Thank you for all your support, you've had such a huge impact on my journey.
A massive thank you to Sam for helping me bring my final project to life and supporting me as I created my very first game.
And to my wonderful husband... thank you. Thank you for every pep talk, every late night, every hug after a hard day, and for believing in me even when I struggled to believe in myself. None of this would have been possible without you. 🥹🥰⭐
Finally, to all my course mates. Thank you for making these last three years so memorable. I can't wait to see what you all go on to create.
Bath Spa will always have a special place in my heart. 💜
