Part 2 in the Evolution of a Vinyl Record series.
When the pressing plant receives the lacquer master disc from the mastering studio they plate it and turn it in to a stamper that is used to press the records. The pressing plant presses 5 copies of the record and sends them to the client to approve before completing the whole run. In this case the pressing plant is The Record Industry in the Netherlands and the mastering studio is Stardelta. The manufacturing was managed by Well Tempered. This series of short vids shows the experience of the record label/artist. If you want me to delve deeper in to the details of the process with more videos please let me know in comments.
