And slide 8 is an important one - you can create reels that suit you and your business with doing anything that gives you the ick!

I know reels can feel hard and it can be a bit deflating when you spend hours on a reel only for it to flop! 😕

But in my experience (and I’ve been making reels for 5 years) - the simple ones are often the best!

And really understanding what makes a reel perform well will help you get the most out of them.

If you’re hoping to be more consistent on Instagram in 2025, save these content ideas to get you started in January.

Some ideas are perfect for the start of the year, but there are others you can use all year round - so keep it to refer back to.

Consistency has always been key to Instagram growth so remember to pick a schedule you can sustain over time, whether that’s 4 times a week or more - do what’s realistic for you and stick to it.

I hope you find them useful and feel free to send on to someone else who might need them.

✨Save this✨ if you’ve been meaning to update your Instagram Stories Highlights for longer than you’d like to admit!

It’s also good to get them in check if you’re planning an Insta break over Christmas so your profile can continue to work hard for you.

Your Stories Highlights are where you can store important Stories, organised into useful categories, providing important information about you and your business for people visiting your account.

Think of them as a mini website!

Ensure they include information on what they can do next to contact you or find out more where it makes sense to do this - use them strategically!

And in case you haven’t heard - highlights may be moving soon to a separate tab on our profiles…I haven’t actually see this in action yet, but something to look out for!
