Earlier this month I had the amazing opportunity to meet some BTCC legends and sit in a couple of iconic cars at Williams heritage. It was a brilliant day (one of only a handful this year)

The final part of this mammoth series with legends & talking with for will air in a few minutes.

Loved filming and editing this one, there was so much good footage and chat I don’t know if 4 videos would do them justice. There could have been more! But I’m looking forward to a break from the computer and to sample that gin (see stories).

Thanks for the solidarity and making this one work for this epic series with me.

In 2014 I sold my BMPCC as it wasn’t working for me. It’s impractical, massively flawed in several aspects, but the image still looks great now. No 4k, only 1080, terrible in low light, ridiculously poor battery life, useless autofocus, no stability, but there was always something about the image that made me feel a bit wobbly. It still does, and that’s why I bought one this week. The price was right and already it’s doing what it did to me the first time around. This tiny camera not only helped me get some jobs that got my career on the right track, but I also shot some family moments that now magically have an added layer of warmth because they were documented on this. 2021 will be the year I try and make this fit into my workflow. I think I know how. It’s got me excited to shoot again.

Pretty pretty happy with how the most recent Jonny Smith video came out. I didn’t film any of it this time, but I edited it together and made the on screen graphics.
