The Global Reuse Summit is back for 2025! 🌍
Hosted in our home city of Bristol by City to Sea in partnership with Ecosurety, the (digital and in-person) event brings together industry leaders, innovators and policy makers for six dynamic panels focusing on how to scale reuse. The burden single-use packaging places on people and our planet is escalating, and it's time to take reusable packaging to the mainstream!

Happy International Women's Day!

It's always important to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women globally - and in uncertain times like these, we need to work even harder to accelerate gender equality.

This Women's Day, we want to give a shoutout to Project Rewrite; a Wikimedia Foundation initiative that aims to address gaps in content about women on Wikipedia. For most of written history, women have been left out of the record, and as Wikipedia is powered by humans, it is also a reflection of the structural and historical inequalities women experience around the world. However, this "gender gap" problem is something we can all strive to fix!

As the world’s largest source of free knowledge, Wikipedia strives to represent the full, rich diversity of all humanity, but when it comes to the representation and participation of women - cis, transgender, and non-binary - there's still a long way to go. As of January 2025, only 18.9% of the content in all Wikimedia projects, including biographies on Wikipedia, are of women. Project Rewrite, a part of the Open the Knowledge initiative, aims to correct this. Read more about the gender gap, and how you can help close it, here:
