Welcome to the wild side Liberty 🐯

Liberty is a self-shooting filmmaker, producer and researcher with over ten years of experience spanning development, production, art department and fiction. She has worked on many prime time factual television programmes for major UK and international broadcasters - as well as being independently commissioned by brands, organisations and artists to create short films for digital platforms and gallery exhibition.

Liberty’s decade of experience will bring a wide skill set to Wild Rice Films from a varied background of documentary for broadcast, branded and commercial film projects

Some of Liberty’s most notable credits include interviewing ex-Lord’s Resistance Army child soldiers (Discovery) to building community treehouses (SKY1) to the power of miniature good luck charms in modern conflict (independent film festival award winner).

Our relationship with Liberty spans years and in 2017-18 Liberty and Rich produced and filmed the Channel 4 documentary series 'WWII's GREAT ESCAPES: The Freedom Trails' with Seadog Productions. The small crew hiked and filmed for four months across mountains to re-tread the same escape routes and interview some of the last Veterans and Resistance workers, many of whom had never told their stories before. As well as creating many other commercial projects.
