Trying to not get frustrated about this, but it says it all. It can so often feel like the ability for your child to flourish in mainstream can be so down to that one teacher they get. Goes to show how much difference a teacher who ‘gets him’ can make (and how incredible some teachers are!)
This focus is ‘approaches to learning’ rather than attainment - so not about his ‘spiky profile’ and more about engagement/curiosity/focus/etc. happy to answer any questions in the comments!
