Im gunna try keep this as short as possible.... Last weekend marked a HUGE milestone in my career and passion as a soundman and artist.... ive been going to teachings in dub for over 10 years since i moved to bristol, also then leading to helping stryda with the promotion for some years and running events for him on occasion also... this event alone has shaped my journey in music more than anything else i would say, i think i have missed about 3 events in 10 years due to family commitments or working my own shows as of late.... safe to say i LOVE teachings in dub, its given me so many revelations within my personal life a real sense of community that i was seeking as a youth and a real education around roots & dub culture that is necassary to fully appreciate what this music is all about.... for all this im so grateful to for the endless works.
So to get invited to perform alongside one of the best to ever do it with was nothing short of a dream come true and brought about the culmination of 10 years of my own hard work and dedication in this sound thing....i have been working so hard behind the scenes with music and the sound to make sure we did it the justice i felt it deserved sonically and artistically... i hope we achieved that for everyone in attendance. Mark definately played heavy and as usual with grace and manners, i learnt a lot last friday from him there
Im super grateful for everyone of my crew and team who have helped the sound reach its new heights and their dedication to our mission is undoubtably and essential part of what carries it to where it is. It takes a small army to achieve what we do and i am always in awe of my friends and team that are involved with this journey. Thankyou thankyou thankyou, you know who you are 🙏🏼
Now i plan for our first ever european tour, the sound goes from strength to strength and i couldnt be more happy with where were at on this journey in sound
