Deep in the underground laboratory, experiments in low frequencies continue…

This year we’re pushing the concept further than ever using sub frequencies to cultivate new forms of plant life, mutate sound pressure into energy, and create a fully immersive world built around bass, science fiction and soundsystem culture.

Powered once again by the full force of Firmly Rooted Soundsystem, SUB-LAB brings together a lineup spanning the full spectrum of underground bass music, from dubstep and grime to experimental soundsystem pressure and beyond.

Expect Heavyweight sound, Immersive stage design Experimental bass mutations, Full body sub pressure , Community, energy & beautiful chaos

What a joy it is to be able to host an event in of which we have been attending dances for well over 10 years and enjoyed many sessions from dancing to powering them. We look forward to seeing you all this weekend for a big dance

Brand new settings

Were trying out a new 360 setup this year at love saves the day. We wanted to try experiement with the dancefloor and dj/crowd dynamic to explore new possibilitiea for connection through the sound and stage experience

Ten years deep… and the sound is still growing.

As we approach a decade of Firmly Rooted, we’ve been reflecting on the journey, from the early builds and first dances to the weight and clarity we carry today.

Every session, every tweak, every lesson learned in the dance has shaped what the sound has become.

And it’s not stopping here....

With new boxes being built right now, we’re continuing to refine and evolve, pushing for something more efficient, more balanced, more intentional. Always in service of the dance. Always for that feeling when everything locks in and the room moves as one.

Past, present, future ..... all connected through the sound.
