We are pleased to announce that we will be releasing the new album from Irish one man DSBM project Foraoisí gan Iniúchadh - 'Isolation' - on limited digipak CD on Friday 2 September.

Tomas Hynes - the creator and mastermind behind Foraoisí gan Iniúchadh (which translates from Irish gaelic to 'Unexplored Forests') is from County Wexford in Ireland and first came to our attention through Bandcamp last year and we were blown away by the deep atmospheric tones he was able to convey is his music. Being only 16 years of age his future in the world of extreme metal is sure to be one that gains both attention and reverence in equal measures.

We are proud to be able to be a small part of his journey.

This has been a vision of the shop since opening - to host and record live sessions from some of our favourite bands to then be immortalised on CD. The first release of these is from our good friends in DSCM with a digital release tomorrow followed by the first in a series of physical CDs to be released on Wednesday 15 September prior to the bands headline show at Gryphest 2021.

To facilitate this we have created and thus launched Forged In Darkness Records to be the label to release all the forthcoming sessions. Please note Forged In Darkness will not be taking submissions or propositions for releases. Preorder is available on our website.
