A For Alpha is hugely inspired by 90s Underground and the different twists and turns that this infamous decade took. Cutting her teeth in the Garage scene under her previous alias ‘A-Bee’, A For Alpha continues to push this raw and crunchy Garage sound, alongside chunky House and Techno tracks full of swing. Also inspired by the sounds of early Hardcore, Rave and Jungle, you can expect to hear ele

ments of these genres worked into her sets, productions and radio shows. A For Alpha finds ways to blend and rework the older tracks with new productions that follow the same characteristics of chunky, skippy, euphoric and smooth. During her monthly show on Bristol’s SWU FM you can expect to go on a deep trip through Garage, House, Techno, Jungle and Hip Hop, alongside features from some of her favourite artists new and old. She is deeply influenced by infamous underground labels such as Nice N Ripe, Wiggle, Slapfunk, Very Important Plastic, Centrestage and Tripoli, this can be heard throughout her sets and productions.

Today is a very cute one! has got me on a special Garage takeover at alongside the ABSOLUTE legends and 😍

When I started DJing I was very very VERY much into Garage and all I would do is mix garage records, run all vinyl garage parties, ran a garage record label etc etc. Over the years my sound has evolved and changed and become more housey, but I do still have an absolute soft spot for 90s Garage 💎

It’s really nice to have the opportunity to revisit this part of my record collection and to be playing alongside some artists I fu***ng love and have booked for my parties in the past 🥰

Love Internash - where the f**k do I even BEGIN?! Honestly that was the most stunning time of my life ever, thank you so muchhhh and all the lover crew for having me come play on the Garden Stage - was such a beaut set and a real honour to open it on the Friday before some of my fave DJzzz🪏

The 10th edition really was so beautiful, the best music that has left my legs hurting and my head inspired, the best crew to party with and so many fabulous new friends made - my heart is so full 💕

Here’s to more love, ‘ouse music, skim balls, fish platters and less urchins - buzzing for next year ###

29 years round the 🌞 today!!! My two key takeaways from this year were - learning how to leg flick and then making sure to do it in every picture ✌️

On a real - this year has been the year where I’ve felt myself come into alignment most and felt fully confident in myself and what I’m doing 💪 One thing I’ve learnt as you get older is how to have more self awareness, grace with yourself and belief in yourself - it’s a super nice place to be and I’m bloody chuffed to be here 🥰

TYSM to all my fabulous friends and loved ones for making this year so special - I really love you to the moon and back 🌝
