A For Alpha is hugely inspired by 90s Underground and the different twists and turns that this infamous decade took. Cutting her teeth in the Garage scene under her previous alias ‘A-Bee’, A For Alpha continues to push this raw and crunchy Garage sound, alongside chunky House and Techno tracks full of swing. Also inspired by the sounds of early Hardcore, Rave and Jungle, you can expect to hear ele

ments of these genres worked into her sets, productions and radio shows. A For Alpha finds ways to blend and rework the older tracks with new productions that follow the same characteristics of chunky, skippy, euphoric and smooth. During her monthly show on Bristol’s SWU FM you can expect to go on a deep trip through Garage, House, Techno, Jungle and Hip Hop, alongside features from some of her favourite artists new and old. She is deeply influenced by infamous underground labels such as Nice N Ripe, Wiggle, Slapfunk, Very Important Plastic, Centrestage and Tripoli, this can be heard throughout her sets and productions.

Going back through my camera roll I feel MEGA grateful for this year, so many really beautiful memories and defo the best summer of my life ever - tysm to all the old, new and wonderful frendz who make it all such a LAFF 🌞

Highlights of the year include..
-Meeting my beautiful girlfriend .music
-Playing in Panorama Bar on a Sunday 12-4pm (easily my fave set EVER),
-Releasing another EP on vinyl and digi that sold out in 6 weeks 🥲
-Playing Love Internash and going with the most wonderful crew
-Lots of studio time at
-Relaunching my label / party -
-First ADE!
-Playing Centre Stage at
-Cute b2bs with

So many incredibly things to mention, thank you for all the opportunities and to everyone who has supported my music and my sets, it really means the 🌍

I made this track earlier this year on my beloved MPC-2000XL - helps to make the track more minimal and the drums extra crunchy 🥁

Beyond grateful to still be part of the .fm family after all these years!! Also very grateful that Rinse have been able to keep .fm on air, a very important platform for our city / scene ❤️‍🔥

I started doing radio many moons ago, I think it’s nearly 10 years 😱 but I remember I would always listen to Rinse shows and dream of doing something like this 🥹

I’ve done a few solo shows on Rinse over the years, guested on some fabulous ones as well and now have had my own show on SWU for 5 years!! Doing a weekly slot and now back to bi-weekly. I fu**in love radio and all the gang who constantly support the shows and letting me yap about waft and records - LOVE YOU 🫶

It sold out and was a beautiful vibe from start to finish - such an up for it crowd, we got to go to parts of our record bags we don’t normally get to go to 🥲

BEYOND chuffed to be holding my second EP 😍 This one is a collab with my good pal released on his label 🥊

When I began DJing many moons ago - production never felt like a possibility to me, but to now be holding my work and to see this EP being supported by artists I’ve looked up to for such a long time, it’s an INCREDIBLE feeling ✨

Big shout to for letting us use their incredible studio space in Bristol to create the EP and to Joe and for giving the record the perfect home ☀️

It’s a year since I did my residency at and I wanted to reflect cos I really feel like this period was pivotal in changing a lot of things for me and filling me with confidence in my sound and the way I view my music and my art🧘‍♀️

Three sold out parties - one that started with my first all night long - 6 hours of tunes and a beautiful connection to that special dancefloor ✨ and joined me on the other two - a real honour and joy to have them at my fave Bristol spot ❤️‍🔥

I have so many thanks to give this special place - thank you so much to The Love Inn crew and every person I’ve had a jolly with in there, countless good memories, can’t wait for so many more ⚡️

I’m also very pleased to announce that is back and on the 14th Nov myself and will be b2b All Night Long ‼️ his releases and his record bag are sublimeeee - this is gonna be a deep and fun dive 🤿
