Saving water isn't just for your garden - it's for your whole outdoor space! Here are our top tips for a water-wise summer:

☀️ Water early in the morning or late in the evening to reduce evaporation.
☔ Catch the rain and install a water butt to collect rainwater for your plants.
🌼 Add a layer of mulch around plants to help the soil retain moisture.
🚗 Instead of using a hose, wash your car with a bucket and sponge. Or, better yet, let it go a little dirty!

⚠️Burst main in Webbs Heath ⚠️
06/08/2025
09:04

We are pleased to inform you that this burst was been repaired overnight. Crew on site confirmed positive pressure in the main and hydrant at around 3:30am, meaning all customers should be back in water.

Some of you may experience lower pressure, this is due to a faulty valve, which our crew is working on at the moment.

Road closure is still in place. We have another crew attending this morning to assess damage to the highway and plan for reinstatement so we can move to clearing the road as quickly as possible this week.

Thank you very much for your patience. ^ Riley

Our teams are continuing to work hard and will be working through the night to get this burst repaired. As part of these works there may be some interruptions to supplies overnight but we're expecting your water to be on as normal by the morning. Properties likely to see interruptions have been texted directly to warn them; for all other properties we've either moved water around our network or will be tankering water directly into the network to keep you in supply. Thank you all for your continued patience and we'll be working as quickly as we can to get this resolved. This will be our final update for this evening.

17:17

We are carrying out a rezone for around 900 properties to keep customers in supply. Texts have been sent to these customers and who as a result may experience fluctuations in pressure, but will still remain in water. We're still assessing alternative options to maintain supplies to remaining affected properties before starting work on the repair. Thank you very much for your understanding. ^Riley

15:21

Due to a burst main in area, affected areas (as shown on the map below) may be experiencing no water or poor pressure. Our crew is currently on site to repair the leak. We will endeavour to restore your water as soon as possible. Thank you very much for your patience. ^Riley

Our crew are carrying out urgent repairs this evening. Some of the properties will experience no water/ poor pressure shortly for up to 2 hours. Our crew are working hard to get complete this essential work as quickly as possible. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this causes you and we’ll work as quickly as we can to get your supply back to normal. Thank you for your patience.

Due to this work, you may also experience some discolouration to your water when the supply is restored. This is normally short lived as we carry out flushing of the water mains. Once the work is complete and your supply is restored, please allow time for us to complete the flushing and then run your first mains fed cold water tap for up to 30 minutes to clear any discoloured water in your pipes. ^Riley

12:31

As we continue working on this issue, all properties should see water back on. The pressure may not be back fully until repair is completed. Thank you very much for your patience. ^Riley

10:31

Our crew is still investigating this, but we managed to narrow down the area and isolate the leak. Some of you may see water pressure slowly coming back, though 25 properties remain no water for now. We appreciate your understanding. ^Riley

08:15
