Announcement time! As some you know, I moved to Bristol about a year ago. Doesn't seem right to keep trading under the name of 'Brighton Mastering' when I've upped sticks from the sea, so Brighton Mastering is now... Old Cottage Audio.

Why Old Cottage Audio? Because (I hope) it captures where my ears and gear take me. Modern but organic. Rich tones and detailed textures. Luscious acoustic, dusty beats, filthy rock 'n' roll. Crafting the kind of records you want to get cosy with and really get to know. You get the idea.

And my new space is literally in an old cottage. So there's that, too.

I’ve been through a lot in the last year in terms of turning around my mental health/overcoming huge phobias/dealing with a breakup and obviously covid too which has had a huge effect on all of us. This is the first of a little collection of songs I wrote about the whole experience.
