While options are being considered for the future of Ashton Court Mansion, Artspace Lifespace (ASLS) has stepped in to take on the running of the mansion house from May 2018. Our vision is for Ashton Court to be an inclusive multi-use arts venue for Bristol and North Somerset facilitating art, theatre, performance and community activities.
Our lease is for five years but working with Bristol City Council and Bristol Civic Society we hope that by May 2020 the plan for long term future of Ashton Court Future will be determined.
What are your opening hours?
Our office hours are 11am-4pm Wednesday-Sunday. The mansion can be hired during our outside of those hours by prior arrangement. Our programme of public 0pening concluded on September 28th with a Heritage Family Day.

Ashton Court is a grade 1 listed building so no holes can be drilled in the walls.
Exhibitors must use the exhibition stands and easels provided to display work.
Exhibition Hire Cost: From £15 per hour or £200 per week.
The Music Room
The stunning ground floor room has windows overlooking the sunny South lawn with breathtaking views of the city. Suitable for performances, rehearsals, workshops, film screenings, events and conferences.

Winter Garden Bar

How do I get there?
Public Transport: First operates a bus from Bristol to Ashton Court every 20 minutes.
By Car: 2 miles from the city centre to the west, off the A369 to Portishead. Entrances at Bower Ashton, Long Ashton and Leigh Woods.
Can I tour the house?
On September 28th we ran tours of the house for the first time in partnership with Friends of Ashton Court Mansion. We hope to run more tours of this nature in the future.
