I will start

Green Day – They were my gateway band. Dookie dropped when I was a teenager, and everything up through Ni**od absolutely ruled. After that, it all felt a bit meh to me, aside from the occasional standout track.

Weezer – I probably stuck with Weezer longer than most. I loved everything up to Make Believe — Pinkerton is my favorite, with Blue coming in a close second. But after album five, aside from a song or two, I just couldn’t get into it anymore.

Rivers feels way more interested these days in writing pop songs with no heart, instead of rock songs with pop melodies. 😿

The album is almost entirely made up of traditional folk songs/folk‐classics, reinterpreted in The Dreadnoughts’ style — that is, merging folk melodies, sea shanties, war songs, ballads, etc., with their folk-punk energy.

The last track (“Roll Northumbria [Heavy Version]”) is an exception in that it may depart somewhat from a purely traditional source.

It has raw, spirited instrumentation, lively harmonies, and often a sense of rugged or maritime atmosphere — invoking sea, war, rural life, loss and community
