This week is . More than 10 million people across the globe are living with this debilitating condition, yet it is still widely misunderstood especially in places like Africa.

Our New Fruit Director Rob Hayward is a brilliant filmmaker and today we’d like to share with you some of his own work, creating this moving video to support Guy Deacon C.B.E, who is embarking on a truly inspirational journey to connect with people across Africa who are living with the same condition that he is. He is raising money in the process for Cure Parkinsons

Guy’s journey was interrupted due to the pandemic, but he is now making his way back to Africa to continue on his monumental 12,000 mile drive from Freetown to Capetown.

This small but mighty camera is jam packed with features that allows us to shoot even smarter for our clients.

Features like face tracking, image stabilisation, touch screen auto focus, and 4k video shot at 120 frames per second mean there are no limits to what we can shoot with this powerful camera. Vertical shooting options also give us huge flexibility when shooting for mobile smart devices, or digital signage.

Let there be light ✨

Yes folks, it’s that time of year again when the clocks spring forward (don’t forget to change your clocks tonight!) ⏰

Okay okay, we know that’s one hour less in bed tomorrow, but it also signifies that the days are getting longer and this means more natural light in our lives. Exposure to natural light helps our bodies produce Vitamin D, which improves our circadian rhythms and sleep patterns. Helping us to focus, be more productive and even makes us happier. 😊

For us filmmakers though, there are even more positives to be had. On long, complex, or outdoor shoots, it means more time to get all the footage we need for that perfect edit. Natural light is also a creative playground for us. From long moody shadows, and lazy summer rays – we use natural light to help create a mood or an energy, which helps us tell your story.

Root connections is an organisation whos mission is to improve health and wellbeing for adults with complex needs, primarily those who are homeless and rough sleeping.

We created this short film to help support their cause and in return recieved flowers from the garden, a veg box and some amazing chutneys!
