‘Tis the season to be jolly and we have events and activities throughout the magazine that will get you in the Christmas spirit! From Santas on a bike and Santas on the run, to concerts and choirs, carols services and pantos - there is something for everyone this month. Carols in the Barn is always a highlight and Paul’s Place are pleased to invite you to their first Christmas Market this December.

The Willow Brook Centre kick off the festive cheer next Friday 28th November with their Christmas Jamboree offering an evening of festive fun with lots of free activities for the whole family to enjoy!

The Aztec Hotel is offering Wreath Making on 26th November & 3rd December and Sunday lunch with Santa on 7th & 14th December.

Please do support local businesses when you work down your Christmas gift list, beauty vouchers make a wonderful present, a book by our local author or tickets to a local show, a training opportunity or a fun workshop perhaps, a trip to the driving range, or the gift of being organised, or even the gift a house clean! Lots of ideas that our local advertisers can help you with if you get stuck!

All this, as well as tips to keep you active this winter, focusing on your winter wellbeing, updates from the local Parish Council, 1st Stoke Gifford School Scouts, Little Stoke Primary School, our local MP and regional Mayor and much more!

Remembrance Day Parades:

The annual Remembrance Sunday Parade in Bradley Stoke takes place at the Willow Brook Centre on Sunday 9th November (see poster for details).

In Stoke Gifford, the annual Remembrance service will be on Remembrance Sunday, 9th November 2025 at 10.30 am on the Green in Stoke Gifford.

The Patchway Remembrance Parade will be held on the morning of Sunday 16th November 2025. The parade will assemble by 10.15am at the car par beside the Doctor’s surgery off the Coniston Road, the Parade will commence at 10.30am. The Remembrance service will be held at the Memorial in Norman Scott Park.
