Hey hey! This Saturday coming I will be back on the airwaves, bringing you all a bboy break heavy 2 hours of funk, soul, hip hop and all the good stuff in between 😎

I’m back on from 12pm with my “Audio Horizons” show, and have chosen a jam packed selection of grooves to get down to.

Some of the rare groove and break records I will be playing have been in my collection for over 20 years and have been brought back from places all over the world on my travels.
Ill be cutting them up in the mix, so make sure you get locked in 🔒🔒🔒

There are a few pictures from my bboy days, when I had the best time traveling and battling with my crew.
I need to dig out the photo albums, VHS tapes and go through all the footage on mini dv tapes we accumulated over the years, as I’m sure there people that would like to see it.

Friday just gone was one of the most fun nights I’ve had in a long time!
I danced for almost 5 hours non stop with my best mates, and amazing wife, and got to see a true legend of the game play an awesome packed out, tune after tune set.
I really enjoyed the venue (toilets weren’t great) but the vibe was, a lovely mixture of people of all ages, and I thought the sound system was good.

It’s mental to think that one DJs music has had such an impact on me over the last 30 years and to see him play all those tunes was pretty special.

I couldn’t bring myself to stay to close knowing I had to deal with a hyped up 3 year old the next day, so unfortunately missed Ewan Mcvicker, but really enjoyed both and sets.

Why am I sharing this? Well the crew of people I went with have all had their fair share of bad luck thrown at them over the last few years (including myself) meaning a night like this was unthinkable.
It was honestly so good to actually smile and dance and forget about all our woes, and party like we used to.
Well almost…
3 of us were sober, I had to ice my knees when I got in, and work today was tough!

I just want to shout out and all for making it such a good evening!
I’m sure all of us would have been in bed before 10pm under normal circumstances, but it just goes to show that good music can’t be denied, and we’ve still got it 👊👊👊

I’m pleased to announce that I have joined the brilliant and will be broadcasting my first show this coming Saturday at midday!

The show is titled “Audio Horizons” and will be delving into the funk, soul and rare groove side of things, with a healthy dose of hip hop thrown in for good measure.

I’m really excited to be back in the radio once more, and I’m looking forward to digging deep into my collection of music again, and sharing it with you all.

Il be spinning a classic house set, and will be playing alongside the .sounds crew back on our favourite Garden stage.
