For over 5 years we have been working closely with 𝙿𝙰𝚂𝚃𝚄𝚁𝙴 𝚁𝚎𝚜𝚝𝚊𝚞𝚛𝚊𝚗𝚝 & 𝙱𝚊𝚛 to support them with their video requirements. In that time we have not only seen Pasture grow exponentially but we have had the privilege of journeying with
them throughout (whilst eating their delicious food along the way).

As a dedicated film company nothing makes us happier than working closely with our amazing clients to fully understand their needs and desires and help them achieve their goals
through the medium of film.

This recent job is a ‘hero video’ that encompasses everything Pasture has to offer, which will sit on their websites and social media platforms to highlight their vast offering.

The story of Filma King

Picking up a camera for the first time at 14-years-old, CEO and Creative Director, Nick Jones, instantly knew he wanted to be a filmmaker. Studying media for five years opened his eyes to the power of visual storytelling and gave him a platform to connect with the world. After leaving university he found himself banging on industry doors only to receive rejection after rejection. Feeling frustrated by a lack of opportunity, he was forced to take the leap of starting his own video production company in 2012. This was the beginning of Filma King - a small film company with big ambitions. Despite owning his own company, Nick was working unfulfilling jobs on the side because all of the setbacks had shattered his self-confidence. He felt lost. It was in this situation he met his wife Sophie, who helped reignite his passion for filmmaking and provided him with the greatest motivation of all. Soon into their relationship Sophie fell pregnant with their daughter Sienna, who changed their lives for the better. Sienna was dependant on them for everything. This responsibility was something Nick had not experienced before, but he was not prepared to fail his family. He became more motivated than ever to succeed. With the pressure of a family to look after and only one income due to Sophie being on maternity leave, Nick was struggling to cover the rent and knew it was now or never to transform Filma King into a successful business for the sake of his family’s future. Investing the little money he had in order to acquire an office space and a clientele, Nick’s once shattered vision was beginning to rebuild itself. He was now one step closer to being the father, husband and filmmaker he always wanted to be. A few years down the line and a once one person operation has grown into a successful Filma Kingdom with other dedicated citizens whose talents include filming, editing, copywriting and marketing. A kingdom where Nick now uses his own story to help others tell theirs. Whether it’s big brands or small companies, there is nothing Filma King loves more than being able to provide value to someone else’s journey. Those doors Nick was banging on at the start of his journey are the people Filma King now collaborate with on a variety of film projects.
