We’re incredibly proud of the work delivered by Dilesh Korya, the Doghouse team, and Blackmagic Design, who collaborated on the DaVinci Resolve demo about Empire with David Olusoga, presented to Bristol’s creative community in November 2025.

The feature highlights the post-production workflow behind Empire with David Olusoga, showcasing the craft, collaboration, and technical excellence that brought the series to life.

This Monday Doghouse Post and Blackmagic Design hosted a deep dive into longform editing using DaVinci Resolve for the latest David Olusoga series Empire.

Featuring presentations from editor Dilesh Korya and Doghouse Finishing Artist Michael Lansdell.

We explored the offline and online workflow behind the series with an audience of editors and producers from the Bristol TV network. The session showcased practical techniques and best practices for managing offline and post workflows and led to great discussion during Q&A around edit systems.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, including Hillgate Films for giving us permission to hold the event around this fantastic series.
