Re the Conygre ward and various discussions
In the interests of clarity, we received election profiles from Labour ahead of our May edition print deadline but not from Reform. We did contact them to request in good time. To try to be fair to all, and being mindful of election rules, we took the decision to NOT print the Labour profiles with a note saying 'Reform were approached etc.' We simply listed the candidates from both parties.
We subsequently decided to post the profiles online, as you can see here. Despite being told by the local Reform representative last Wednesday they were coming within 24 hours, they have not yet arrived. If they do, we will add them.
As for comments being removed, as one admin has already explained, if several identical posts arrive within minutes of each other, Facebook automated services does not accept them. This is not an admin action, it is Facebook.
Editor’s note: Parties were approached before Filtonvoice printing day for candidate profiles. As not all were received, and in the interests of fairness, we listed candidates in print only with no profiles. We are printing profiles online as we receive them.
