Is The Mummy (1999) actually a horror movie? 🤔

We weren't 100% sure if it counted until we saw it featured in the late-90s horror documentary In Search of Darkness on Shudder... so it’s officially canon! Either way, Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz together on screen is top-tier cinema. 🔥

If you're tired of horror movies where you end up rooting for the killer because the "heroes" are just too unlikable, this simple, straight-to-the-point slasher is a total breath of fresh air. It's got great kills, a wonderful throwback style, and characters you actually care about!
