What's Happening On Arran

Hello all. Unpredictable events keep delaying us from posting an updated video, but we will get there soon. Lots of changes on the island recently, including a veritable ‘musical chairs’ of Brodick businesses as they move, restructure and redesign. The September weather has been rather wet to say the least, but the trees for the most part are still green as we’ve had few really windy days despite what the ferries are doing.
This weekend it’s the farmer’s market at Bellevue, a production of Candide by the Arran Theatre & Arts group and the last final week of Arran’s summer as we had towards the October holidays. Graham will be at the farmer’s market with Dusty, so do pop along - the weather forecast isn’t great but it’s indoors - and there’s food available!
Other than that, we will both be working towards a video update soon. Hope all our followers and friends have had a good season/summer 🙂

Heather and I are still very much around, despite our busy work schedules and family commitments over the past few months. Following many comments and requests, we are very aware that we need to (a): say hello; and (b) do *something* to acknowledge our existence! We do, in fact, meet up about twice a week and we do, also, talk about a recorded video that we can shoot and upload. Live….well, it’s possible, but not likely to be a regular thing again. We’ll work on some content very soon. In the meantime, here’s a pic from the far reaches of the Merkland track, looking south towards the Brodick standing stones. Graham
