HLM Architects’ interiors team has completed the redesign of Camden Methodist Church in London’s Camden Town, transforming it into a 4-star luxury boutique hotel. Working on behalf of The Wesley Hotel group, HLM led the interior design of the ambitious retrofit scheme, with construction commencing in January 2021. The new hotel, which is due to open its doors on 30th December, spread over four floors, is known as The Wesley Camden Town and will comprise 39 beautifully designed rooms, with a newly refurbished, modern worship space underneath for use by the local community....

The predicted fall off for RMI* work after the pandemic has failed to affect the order books of Steel Window Association (SWA) members, as customers from both the commercial and residential sectors have continued to seek expert help in refurbishing their steel window systems across properties of all ages. According to the SWA, there are a number of factors at play, including the continued shift in work/life balance towards WFH, and the many perceived benefits of maintaining properties in a good state of repair; as well as those customers seeking to improve the energy performance or appearance of their buildings....

The first of 10,000 new homes are well underway at Meridian Water signalling the start of a new era of housing in Enfield. The Leader of Enfield Council, Cllr Nesil Caliskan, visited Meridian One for a topping-out ceremony to mark the completion of the blocks at Enfield Council’s flagship regeneration project, Meridian Water.
