🦁 Our Lion Will Roar Again! 🦁

We’re absolutely delighted to share this great article from the Northern Scot about the restoration of our iconic gate guardian lion.

A huge thank you to Buckie ex-pat and former Gordon Highlander Chris ‘Cam’ Cameron, who has put in months of skilled work to bring the lion back to its former glory. His craftsmanship and generosity mean so much to us here at the Legion.

We can’t wait to see the lion proudly back in place, hopefully in time for Remembrance Sunday.

📯 The Lion Returns!
We’re delighted to share that the British Legion gate guardian - the iconic lion head crest - is being lovingly restored by ex-Gordon Highlander Cam Cameron of Regimental Silversmiths.

Cam has done a brilliant job and it will be back with us within the next few days, just in time for Remembrance. Once it’s returned, it will be re-welded onto the front gates ready for the Cenotaph ceremony.

We're excited to see it return. This is what he looked like when he left us.

A huge thank you to Cam for his skill and dedication in bringing this historic symbol back to life. 🦁❤️
