Hiya all - just a quick read I'd really appreciate it:

Bee killing pesticides are banned across the country, however the previous government approved an emergency license for pesticides used on sugar beet crops in the UK called neonicotinoids. These are honeybee killers 💀🐝

We want to push for Labour not to do the same thing this year.

If we keep harming bees, we risk our food supplies. It's estimated that a third of our food is dependent on pollinators. A third of bee populations are already depleted due to our previous unregulated negligence with pesticide used.

Please if you would add your name to this petition, we are so close to 1.5 million names!!

We can’t allow pesticides to destroy our environment and kill any more bees.

FIRST HONEY🥳🍯

This one is from bees in Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire 🐝

It has an incredibly creamy, consistent texture which makes it perfect for everyday use as a general sweetener or something classy to pop on toast!

The colour for me is delicate and homely, this honey reminds me of breakfasts as a child which gives me all the more reason to eat more of it!

A study carried out by the WWF found that 17 species of bee in the East of England have gone extinct from 1980 to 2013 (WWF, 2024)

This is a sad prospect for the other sub species of these epic pollinators which is why I am so thrilled to see examples of these local apiaries still going strong!

I've had so many people tell me to take this idea for a page and actually make it, so here it is!! 🥳

First and foremost this page will be the sharing of my honey journey; including my honey collecting and tastings from across the UK and beyond!! 🍯
