All Fixed.

We were called out to fix the old tray as it was leaking.

The old tray was fixed down with silicone. The tray dropped and then cracked .

Also upon removal the the floor was sat on 10 mm polystyrene so to much deflection.

No strength in the floor
So we added extra timber to hold it all together

New raised platform to help with the waste as it is now in a different position.

New tray fitted
Sealed in .

Glass re used

If you have a leaking shower
Or bath to shower conversion

Another cracked tray to replace.

This is happening more often nowadays.

Incorrect install again

Tray has been fitted to the floor on silicone
It has failed and the tray has cracked and dropped
Its not been fitted to the wall properly with the right silicone before the wall panels fitted.

So every time the shower is used it pulls down the the sealant line and.leaks through the wall.

So the remedie

Remove the glass and tray .
Build a platform to in crease waste flow. And very useful for future maintenance.
Cut shower panels to new height
Stick and silicone tray to the new platform and walls.
Connect waste
Water test
Silicone the shower tray back in
Fir the glass and silicone out side of the glass.

Test for leaks.
