After an amazing day yesterday being coached by Vibrancy Coaching and then onto a planning meeting with my wonderful Pink Lemonade collaborators Holly DeGavre and Lucy Holding Brand Photography & Media I came home, opened my emails....

and....

BAM!!!

I had an email from The West Country Women Awards to let me know I've been nominated in the Women in Digital Marketing category!!!

WHAT??!!!!!

I've not been nominated for an award before, so believe me when I say this is a BIG DEAL for me!

When first spoke to me last year about supporting her business idea, for a Daytime Disco for women over 30, I was hooked as soon as she told me the premise.

Amazing venues to give the real club vibe. Female DJs. Female bar staff. Female security. Home by 9pm!

What's not to love?!

So we set to work, building a website and hitting socials to raise awareness and shout about our events - our first was a hit in February.

Last Saturday we held our second event.

🏦 Gorgeous venue (Bridport Arts Centre).

🫅 Fabulous venue host (Dee).

🎶 Awesome DJs (Rach herself, and Kathy Kelly).

📸 Talented photographer (Steph Maciuk)

🪪 Brilliant door staff (Sarnie).

And a room full of wonderful women of every age, joyfully dancing, talking, laughing and hugging.

For this event I sponsored the wrist bands and stickers to go on our Menopause of Sound fans and I couldn't be more proud to have taken my support to a new level.

I also set up my camera to record some of our gorgeous attendees talking about the event, snapping away with back stage access, hearing their stories and feeling their elation at dancing with friends. I've spent the last day looking through all the footage but I'm nowhere near ready to post anything as I've just spent the whole time grinning at them rather than planning how to use them!

Rach and I have more exciting plans and events lined up and I LOVE the direction this is taking, and that I get to go along for the ride!

You see, when I get booked for a social media job, or website design, I really like to get into the nitty gritty of the business. I've discovered that being nosey is in fact my superpower for my business!

I'll use the info and knowledge I discover to best promote your business.

Sometimes you'll become one of my best friends too, then you can't get rid of me 🤣
