The following information along with Wetransfer links was sent to customers regarding the DIODE 2 VTs earlier today. Remember, you need to contact us at [email protected] with Bonington Theatre ticket number/seat number to get the download link. If you ordered JUST a VT via AD Music then you should have received the link automatically today. 🙂
Hi,
Thanks for your support in attending DIODE 2. Despite the unavoidable “pre-event” dramas, it was a fantastic day and everyone appeared to enjoy themselves. Certainly the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.
We understand Ron Boots is getting better, I’ve had a couple of FB messages with him today, so our warmest best wishes to him for a full and speedy recovery 🤗.
A couple of points to mention; firstly, the one person I overlooked to thank on the day was a DIODE sponsor “TTS", so, “Many thanks Neil Jellis” 👏 👏 👏
Secondly, we were made aware after the event that the star laser lights active during the Code Indigo set upset a couple of the audience. We have used these in concerts for almost 4 years without a problem, and they are always pointed to the ceiling, for obvious reasons. One or more of them must've been knocked out of position during the change over and annoyingly, it only required the press of a button to turn them off had we been made aware on stage. So our apologies to anyone who was upset by the star lights during the Code Indigo set 🙏. Something for us to triple check at future concerts.
On a personal note, I’d again like to thank Pete Challoner for all his hard work, being the DIODE “man on the ground” in Nottingham.
Also, thanks to my crew for all their hard work behind the scenes, especially Carys who set up and ensured the VT side of things was constantly checked and monitored, and Elaine on the AD Music stand and Ron Goodswen for sorting out the T-Shirts and mugs. And of course Code Indigo sound man Dave Massey who 'rode the faders' from out in the audience to astonishing effect…even I was blown away by the sound of the Code Indigo set on the VT!
But once again, thanks to you for attending and making the event viable.
And now…to the most important thing… 😊... Virtual Tickets. I have included links to various formats from which you can choose.
We recorded the event in 24bit x 48khz so for audiophiles, the 24 bit is true 24 bit.
These links will be active until JULY 10th 2025.
And please, and I hope no offence will be taken at this, but please do not share these DIODE music files online or post them on Youtube. That is for the artists themselves to do. Thanks. 🙏
