JBL Arcade: Snow Party – The Game

Built using the Unity game engine, we created a seasonal gaming platform for JBL, designed to evolve through new games, environments and experiences throughout the year.

Snow Party was the OG of the series, establishing the gameplay and distinctive retro-inspired 3D world that became the foundation of JBL Arcade.

JBL Arcade: Inside the Game 
Continuing our JBL Arcade series, we’re taking a closer look at the UI and gameplay behind Snow Party.

From the opening mission and gameplay mechanics through to power-ups, scoring, leaderboards and competition entry, the UI was designed as one connected experience.

The visual system brought JBL Arcade’s distinctive retro-inspired world into every stage of the player journey, while creating a framework that could evolve across future games and seasonal experiences.

Heading back to where it all began. 
The JBL Arcade journey started in Val Thorens with Snow Party, the first game in the series, created to launch across Europe for the winter season.

Conceived and developed by OMM, in partnership with Tchai, for JBL, the idea was to transform product engagement into a playful, interactive experience, combining retro arcade gaming with the energy, culture and environments surrounding the brand. 
For the first chapter, we took to the mountains. Players could hit the slopes, take on obstacles, perform tricks and compete for a place on the leaderboard, all within a distinctive 3D world built around JBL.

From its beginnings in Val Thorens, Snow Party rolled out into stores across Europe and became the foundation for a much bigger connected gaming platform spanning new games, seasons, products and experiences.

We’re back tonight! 
What an incredible atmosphere at the STōK Cae Ras last Saturday! The passion, energy and noise from the Wrexham fans was something else. 
We’re proud to be supporting the Club and its fans this season, working alongside our friends at to deliver one integrated matchday experience, from the pre match show building the energy and atmosphere ahead of kick off, to fan moments, motion content, screens and sound working together across the stadium.

The next phase in our JBL series takes things to the streets.

As the JBL Arcade world evolved, we worked collaboratively with JBL to develop new games, environments and narratives, each bringing a different energy to the wider experience.

For this phase, we drew on skate culture, combining speed, movement and a little urban grit with the playful, retro-inspired visual language running throughout the series.

Inspired by retro arcade games, festival culture and bold graphic design, these moments helped bring personality, energy and a little nostalgia to the world we were creating.

With summer and festival season just around the corner, we wanted to kick off a new content series spotlighting some of the work created as part of our collaboration with JBL.  
Inspired by retro gaming culture, festival energy and vibrant motion design, the series explores a playful visual world built through 3D animation, stylised transitions and character driven digital content.  
Originally developed for retail festivals and digital touchpoints across Europe, the campaign evolved into a much broader connected experience spanning motion, interaction and gameplay.

What a season. What a finish.  The OMM team have been proud to support Tottenham Hotspur throughout the journey, bearing witness to every moment along the way.
 Football always finds a way to deliver drama, but in the end, the job got done.  Congratulations to the players, staff and fans. Enjoy the celebrations and the well earned break. See you next season.
