Corporate video as we know it is dead. I frequently breathe a sigh of relief when I see the content my competitors are putting out there, just pleased I didn’t have to make what they did.

For years, corporate video has followed the same formula: polished, scripted, and predictable. A talking head, some B-roll, a stock music track, and a safe message. But audiences have changed very fast. The way we consume video has changed. And yet, many businesses are still clinging to outdated ideas of what a ‘corporate video’ should be. Those clinging the hardest actually make them.
