The venue in Springfield Road will offer three-course dinners on Christmas Day from 2pm for free or a small donation.

Burnley pub The Royal Butterfly is collecting donations of selection boxes to hand out to youngsters over the festive season.

The pub is among 81 community watering holes across the North West who are asking customers to donate selection boxes in the lead up to Christmas to ensure everyone has a festive sweet treat to look forward to.

The Royal Butterfly is part of Proper Pubs - an award-winning community wet-led operator division of Admiral Taverns which operate more than 220 pubs across England, Scotland and Wales.

Donations of selection boxes are being accepted up to Sunday, December 14th

A Padiham hotel is hosting its annual Christmas craft market this Saturday (December 6th)

A wide range of stalls at The Lawrence will include everything from gin and candles to paintings, jewellery, pet novelties and wax melts. There is a free children’s colouring competition and free treats for your dogs too.

Entry to the event, which runs from 11am to 3pm is free, and afternoon tea will also be available
