Prep is everything 🎬

In October I filmed winner and sponsor interviews at Awards 2025, hosted by at in London: Sony FX6, four light setup, wireless and wired audio backup, and CF Express cards going directly to an editing team cutting same-day.

No margin for error on the card swaps. And always, ALWAYS carry a spare lav mic.

One of the other videographers needed one for a Reggie Yates intro and didn’t have one. I did. Problem solved. Day saved 🙌

Backstage at the Royal Albert Hall 🎶❤️

In November I was brought in by to help capture the 10 Years of concert, one of the most beautiful rooms I’ve ever worked in, and great crossing paths with the one and only 🙌

Operating a Blackmagic Ursa Broadcast G1 with a Canon CJ zoom from backstage via SMPTE fibre, finding angles from behind curtains, around risers, through whatever gap the show would allow and a gorgeous wide of the venue all while , , and more performed on the other side.

Ten years of Choose Love. An important charity doing essential work. Proud to have played a small part in marking it 🙏

Live from the McLaren garage at Silverstone? No
worries! 🏎️💨

In July, after being recommended to , I set up and operated the vMix broadcast workflow for a live stream from the garage at Silverstone featuring interviews with and delivered in real time to a public audience in Trafalgar Square, London.

It ran perfectly from start to finish. Which is exactly what you want when you’re live from an F1 circuit, before you spend the rest of the day wandering around like a kid in a candy store 🏎️😄

Three nights. Wireless Festival. headlining. 🏟️

Joined at Finsbury Park for the full 2025 run, racking four operated Panasonic cameras covering FOH, thrust and two stage positions.

Absolute pleasure supporting vision director Biz across , , and the full supporting bill.

Drake’s sets were covered by Cruikers, which earned me a few minutes in the pit 📸

Brilliant job on the three consecutive shows and an honour to share the rig with you again too 🙌

Camera 1. Long lens. Chino Moreno. No pressure. 🤘

Back in June, after a recommendation from the legend Ruary Macphie, I joined for the Deftones show at Crystal Palace Park, supported by Weezer and High Vis, operating a Blackmagic Ursa G2 at FOH, dedicated entirely to the lead singer across the full show under the direction of 🫡

Great to share the floor with .tee and the rest of the Vis-a-Vis crew and hopefully we’ll cross paths on another show soon 🙌

The platform had considerably more wobble in it than I’d have liked…but that’s live! You hold the shot and you don’t miss the moment 🎥

Three industry events down this year 🎥

, and now : three very different rooms, same underlying current: broadcast is moving fast and the kit is keeping up.

MPTS was a great one this year. Particularly enjoyed the podcast space running on the VideoCaster — and found there which was a bonus. Caught up with on the floor, checked out the new camera at ProAV’s booth, and had a look at ’ brilliant “What Killed the Livestream?” pinboard. Also swung by .gecko — first met them at my very first MPTS nearly ten years ago, so that one always feels like a full circle moment.

BSC had a tonne of interesting Sony cinema gear and Production Futures were equally well worth the time reconnecting with , as well as .co.uk 🙌 if we crossed paths at any of the three, great to meet you. Let’s stay in touch 🤙

A royal highlight from last year. 🎥👑

Vision mixed the : Wonders of the Wild gala at Temperate House, , an evening attended by King Charles III, Queen Camilla, Ronaldo and Ed Westwick, with and performing live.

My role: keeping the full AV operation running seamlessly across the venue, vision mixing, presentation management and six 85” displays all routed without a hitch from start to finish.

When the room looks like that and the guest list reads like that, you make sure everything runs perfectly. And it did. 🐘🌿

We were very fortunate to interview Robbie Williams backstage at his Wolverhampton gig last night, all about BRITPOP and the Long 90s shows. We can’t wait to share the chat with you all, (once we’ve had a chance to edit it!)

He was very kind to find the time in his busy schedule to talk to us, and the whole team looked after us very well.

The Long 90s gigs were absolutely amazing and we’re both still on cloud 9! BRITPOP sounds incredible live and we’re in love with this album 💿 We can’t wait to chat about it with other fans on our review episodes coming soon too. 🙌🥰

Still buzzing from such a surreal and unforgettable evening 💫

As some of you know, I was a guest on the podcast chatting all things Rudebox a while back — and thanks to Matt & Lucy, I was invited to an exclusive listening session for upcoming Britpop album 🎧

It was a truly special night shared with some incredible people and an electric atmosphere — Rob was on top form, relaxed, and full of joy. The new music? Let’s just say it’s got that 90s spirit — raw, guitar-driven, and totally him 🎸🎤🕺

A special shoutout to .vandr, who I had the absolute pleasure of sitting next to! Huge thanks to the podcast team and everyone who made it such a magical experience! ❤️

I know 2024 is far from over, however, this might be THE highlight of the year and a very special project for me indeed, being asked to help video supervise two (and a half) Sam Smith shows on his summer 2024 festival leg in France, Austria and Poland.

Huge honour as well as a massive professional highlight to work alongside Wob, Mark (Cruikers) as well as Ruary whose work I admired since I was a child on various other tours. An absolute dream crew, incredibly inviting despite my short stay and an experience I could only dream about. If only I could tell my 11 year old self this would happen…!

Fantastic couple of shows and a pleasure delivering them for the various audiences, thank you SO MUCH for having me and look forward to the next adventure! 🎥🕺🏟️🚌🌍

One of the biggest highlights of the year, being asked to help direct and vision mix TrackTV for attendees watching the big screens throughout the China and Imola Grand Prix race weekends while also operating one of the studio cameras filming pre-records with Craig Scarborough as well as Sam Collins sprinkled in with a couple live hits here and there during the Canada GP Formula One 2024 season 🏎️💨

Not much content to share, however, here’s a video posted recently on the Formula One LinkedIn page to give you a sneak peek of what it’s like to work in the impressively kitted out HQ under the watchful eye of Wendy 🙌
