These AI generated static posts are not helping your business. They are actively damaging it.

Research from NielsenIQ found that consumers could often recognise AI generated advertising without being told. They rated it as less engaging and significantly more annoying, boring and confusing than advertising created through traditional methods.

The study also warned of a negative halo effect, where the poor impression created by the advert transfers directly to the business behind it. ([NIQ][1])

And honestly, it is not difficult to see why.

These graphics are usually overcrowded, badly structured and completely disconnected from the brand they are supposed to represent.

❌ Too many fonts.

❌ Too many icons.

❌ Too much information.

❌ Artificial looking photographs.

Every possible colour fighting for attention.

❌ No hierarchy. ❌ No restraint. ❌ No eye for design.

Most importantly, they are rarely brand aligned. The colours, typography, imagery and overall style change from one post to the next, leaving the business with no recognisable identity or consistency.

The people creating them often think they look clever because they have managed to squeeze an entire sales brochure into one social media image.

They do not. They look amateurish.🤯

AI is a useful tool, but it is not a graphic designer. It does not automatically understand artistic balance, brand positioning, customer psychology or what information needs to be removed.

A good static post should communicate one clear message, feel unmistakably connected to your brand and encourage the right person to take the next step.
