*** WARNING TO ANYONE WITH SKY **** Just had a 'scam' call from a withheld number..girl said she was from SKY ..had my name & address correct..said she was reducing my bill to £99 because I was a " good customer".. asked me to confirm the name of the bank that I use for "security purposes" and then said that she had the first 4 digits of my debit card, and could I confirm the rest ?????? I asked why she needed my card details as I pay on D.Debit..she got slightly "arsey" at this and said that the £99 offer could only be fulfilled if I could confirm my bank card number !!!!.. I obviously told her NO !! and could she e-mail me with the details and I would then call them back...guess what ?..she hung up !!!.......So be careful everyone ....I rang SKY who confirmed it is nothing to do with them.and have just reported it to the Police & " Action Fraud " who are looking into it .and please remember never give your bank details out
