I grew up in Whitefield, attending Whitefield County Primary School and then St Joseph’s RC High School. I moved to Prestwich aged 13 and attended Radcliffe Catering College at 16 before starting my career as a chef at Manchester’s Midland Hotel.

It’s one of the biggest days of the year for thousands of students across Bury

After months of hard work, revision, exams and probably more cups of coffee and late nights than you’d care to remember, today is the day you finally discover the results.

If you’re collecting your results this morning, take a deep breath, stay positive and remember to be proud of everything you’ve achieved to get to this point.
