Media Research and Independent Sources

As part of my Diploma in Media studies, we were taught an important principle: always source at least three different articles on the same story. This helps ensure a broader perspective and allows you to form your own informed opinion.

One independent source I follow closely — particularly for coverage of the conflict in Ukraine and now the situation in Israel — is The Enforcer, a U.S.-based YouTube channel. I’ve found their reporting to be consistent, well-researched, and free from major media funding influence. I personally recommend giving them a listen.

Exciting News!

I'm currently developing a brand-new outdoor project for Dumfries and Galloway — and I'd love your feedback!

The concept?
A laser light show simulating the Northern Lights, projected into the night skies above our region during the winter months.

"As darkness falls… the sky awakens.
Colors dance, light sings, and the heavens come alive.
Let your soul rise… with the Northern Lights."

Welcome to the skies above.

Accompanied by an original digital soundtrack (composed by myself under my music alias DJ Wolfman), this event will offer a spectacular, immersive audio-visual experience for residents and visitors alike.

The show would tour multiple locations across Dumfries and Galloway from November to January, bringing communities together in a shared celebration of creativity, light, and sound.

To help bring this vision to life, I'm currently seeking support for the purchase of outdoor laser lighting equipment and staging costs, ensuring the event is safe, professional, and breathtaking.

A little about me:

I run a YouTube channel with over 86,500 views.

I've released five singles under my own record label.

I hold a BTEC National Diploma in Media Film and Television Production.

I’m passionate about using digital media to promote and celebrate our beautiful region.

I truly believe this project could enrich Dumfries and Galloway’s cultural offerings — and attract new visitors to experience the magic of our winter skies.
